Intellectual Property Policy

1. Purpose

This Intellectual Property Policy protects the educational materials, content and intellectual assets developed and used by DirLingua Language House.

It ensures that course materials and resources are used appropriately and only for their intended educational purposes.

By enrolling or participating in any course, programme, workshop, webinar, seminar, accelerator or event organised by DirLingua Language House, participants agree to comply with this policy.

2. Ownership of Materials

All educational materials provided by DirLingua Language House remain the exclusive intellectual property of DirLingua Language House and/or its instructors.

These materials include, but are not limited to:

  • Course slides and presentations
  • Workbooks and worksheets
  • Teaching guides and exercises
  • Course recordings and video content
  • Digital learning materials and resources
  • Assessments, tests and assignments
  • Programme frameworks and methodologies

Participants are granted limited personal access to these materials solely for learning purposes.

3. Permitted Use

Participants may:

  • Access and use course materials for personal educational use only.
  • Review and study the materials during and after the course.
  • Download materials when explicitly permitted by DirLingua Language House.

4. Prohibited Use

Participants may not, without prior written permission from DirLingua Language House:

  • Copy, reproduce or redistribute course materials.
  • Share materials with non-participants.
  • Upload materials to public platforms or file-sharing services.
  • Record classes, workshops, webinars or seminars.
  • Use the materials for commercial or teaching purposes.
  • Modify or republish DirLingua Language House educational content.

Unauthorised use or distribution of materials is strictly prohibited.

5. Recording of Sessions

Participants are not permitted to record any course session, event, workshop, webinar or seminar unless explicit permission has been granted by DirLingua Language House.

DirLingua Language House may record certain sessions for educational or administrative purposes. Participants will be informed when recordings take place.

6. Instructor Intellectual Property

Instructors may use their own teaching materials as part of DirLingua Language House programmes. These materials remain the intellectual property of the respective instructor unless otherwise agreed.

Participants must respect the intellectual property rights of both DirLingua Language House and its instructors.

7. Violations

Any violation of this Intellectual Property Policy may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the course, programme or event.
  • Revocation of access to materials.
  • Denial of certification.
  • Restriction from participating in future DirLingua Language House programmes.

DirLingua Language House reserves the right to take further legal action if necessary.

8. Policy Acceptance

By registering for, or participating in, any DirLingua Language House activity, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to comply with this Intellectual Property Policy
